โครงการพิเศษฉบับนี้ได้นำเสนอการการออกแบบและพัฒนาระบบการบันทึกเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมของมหาวิทยาลัยสวนดุสิตโดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาวิเคราะห์และพัฒนาระบบเดิม ให้มีประสิทธิภาพรวดเร็ว แม่นยำโดยใช้บาร์โค้ดในการเก็บข้อมูลบุคคลเพื่อนำมาใช้ในการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมต่างๆ ได้แก่ การประชุม การอบรม/สัมมนา และการเข้าชั้นเรียน
การพัฒนาระบบมีการจัดเก็บข้อมูลของนักศึกษา ข้อมูลอาจารย์ ข้อมูลเจ้าหน้าที่/บุคลากรภายในมหาวิทยาลัยสวนดุสิต ข้อมูลกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ การออกแบบและพัฒนาระบบการบันทึกเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมของมหาวิทยาลัยสวนดุสิต พัฒนาขึ้นโดยใช้ซอฟแวร์ Microsoft Visual Basic 2010และใช้ Microsoft Access 2007 เป็นฐานข้อมูลระบบที่ผู้จัดทำพัฒนาขึ้นสามารถสรุปผลออกเป็นรายงาน เรียกดูข้อมูลย้อนหลัง และง่ายต่อการแสดงข้อมูลเพื่อใช้อ้างอิงในงานต่าง ๆ ของมหาวิทยาลัย
ผลที่ได้จากโครงการพิเศษนี้ แสดงให้เห็นว่า การนำระบบการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมของมหาวิทยาลัย สวนดุสิตมาทดลองใช้ในการลงทะเบียนเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมต่างๆ มีความถูกต้องและรวดเร็วขึ้น ผลจากการประเมินความพึงพอใจของผู้ทดสอบจำนวน 10 คน พบว่าในด้านการสื่อสารและค้นหาข้อมูลมีความพึงพอใจมากที่สุด โดยมีค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 4.62ผลการวิจัยในครั้งนี้สามารถนำไปใช้กับบันทึกการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมของมหาวิทยาลัยสวนดุสิตให้เกิดประสิทธิภาพมากยิ่งขึ้น
