การวิจัยเรื่อง การพัฒนาเครือข่ายถ่ายทอดภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นของผู้สูงอายุตำบลพิจิตร อำเภอนาหม่อม จังหวัดสงขลา มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษากระบวนการถ่ายทอด องค์ความรู้และการส่งเสริมเอกลักษณ์ภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นของผู้สูงอายุของตำบลพิจิตรศึกษาการพัฒนาเครือข่าย การขับเคลื่อนโครงการและกิจกรรมด้วยเครือข่าย บทบาทการดำเนินงานของเครือข่าย และความสำเร็จของเครือข่ายผู้สูงอายุในการถ่ายทอดภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นของตำบลพิจิตร และรวบรวมบทเรียนภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นของตำบลพิจิตรในด้านการจักสาน ด้านสมุนไพรพื้นบ้าน ด้านศิลปหัตกรรม และด้านประเพณีความเชื่อเป็นการศึกษาเชิงคุณภาพ สำหรับกลุ่มผู้มีส่วนร่วมแบ่งออกเป็นสองกลุ่มคือ กลุ่มที่ 1 ภาคีพัฒนาท้องถิ่นที่ประกอบด้วย บุคลากรขององค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลพิจิตร ประชาชนตำบลพิจิตร รวมถึงบุคคลอื่นๆ จำนวน 2 คน และกลุ่มที่ 2 เป็นผู้สูงอายุในตำบลพิจิตร จำนวน 6 คน ใช้วิธีวิจัยเอกสารและข้อสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกเป็นเครื่องมือในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล และวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหาแบบพรรณนา
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า การพัฒนาเครือข่ายถ่ายทอดภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นของผู้สูงอายุตำบลพิจิตร มีองค์ประกอบที่สำคัญ 3 ส่วนคือ บริบทภูมิปัญญา ประกอบด้วย การถ่ายทอดภูมิปัญญาและองค์ความรู้และการส่งเสริมเอกลักษณ์ภูมิปัญญา ส่วนที่ 2 เครือข่ายภูมิปัญญา ประกอบด้วย การพัฒนาเครือข่ายภูมิปัญญาการขับเคลื่อนโครงการและกิจกรรมด้วยเครือข่ายบทบาทและการดำเนินงานของเครือข่ายความสำเร็จของเครือข่ายผู้สูงอายุในการถ่ายทอดภูมิปัญญาและส่วนที่ 3 บทเรียนภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่น ประกอบด้วย การถอดบทเรียนภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นจากผู้สูงอายุที่ครอบคลุม 4 ด้านคือ ด้านจักสาน ด้านศิลปหัตถกรรม ด้านสมุนไพรพื้นบ้าน และด้านประเพณีและความเชื่อ
