ตั้งแต่ตอนที่ฉันยังเป็นเด็กวิชาภาษาอังกฤษเป็นวิชาที่ฉันไม่ชอบเรียนที่สุด เพราะเป็นวิชาที่ยาก เรียนไม่เข้าใจ ครั้งหนึ่งเคยคิดว่า ไม่รู้จะเรียนไปทำไม ถ้าวันไหนมีเรียนวิชานี้ก็จะไม่สนใจเรียน บางครั้งก็ไม่เข้าเรียนเลย มีหลายๆคนบอกว่าภาษาอังกฤษเป็นภาษาที่ยากสำหรับเด็กสายวิทย์-คณิต และเด็กสายวิทย์-คณิต หลายคนก็ไม่เก่งภาษาอังกฤษ และหนึ่งในนั้นก็คือฉัน โดยส่วนตัวฉันก็คิดว่าภาษาอังกฤษนั้นเป็นวิชาที่ยาก และน่าเบื่อ ฟังไม่รู้เรื่อง อ่าน เขียน และสนทนาก็ไม่ค่อยได้ ไม่กล้าแสดงออก
แต่พอได้เข้าเรียนในระดับอุดมศึกษาก็ได้รู้และเข้าใจมากขึ้นว่าเราเรียนภาษาอังกฤษไปเพื่อใช้ ใช้ในชีวิตประจำวัน ใช้ในการทำงาน หรือทำธุรกิจกับชาวต่างชาติ และอีกมากมาย เลยอยากที่จะเรียนตั้งใจเรียนจริงๆ และพอหลังจากที่ได้เรียนภาษาอังกฤษก็ทำให้ได้รู้จักกับภาษาอังกฤษมากขึ้น และไม่ได้ยากอย่างที่ใครหลายๆคนพูดกัน เพราะเป็นวิชาที่เรียนแล้วสนุกสนาน ไม่ได้น่าเบื่ออย่างที่คิด และที่สำคัญถ้าเรามีความตั้งใจฟังที่อาจารย์สอน และขยันฝึกทบทวน การฟัง พูด อ่าน เขียนมากขึ้น ก็จะทำให้เราเรียนภาษาอังกฤษได้ดีมากยิ่งขึ้น
จากที่ฉันเป็นคนที่ไม่ชอบเรียนภาษาเลย เมื่อได้รู้จักภาษาอังกฤษมากขึ้นแล้วทำให้ฉันรู้สึกชอบมันมากขึ้น อยากที่จะเรียนให้เก่ง อยากนำไปใช้พูดกับชาวต่างชาติได้ และที่สำคัญคือการมีอาจารย์ผู้สอนที่ใจดี เป็นกันเอง สอนเข้าใจง่าย และช่วยสร้างบรรยากาศในห้องเรียนที่ไม่ตรึงเครียด ไม่น่าเบื่อ สนุกสนาน ทำให้ฉันรู้สึกมีความสุขทุกครั้งที่เรียนวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ
