งานวิจัยเรื่องการจัดเส้นทางการท่องเที่ยวแบบภายในหนึ่งวัน (One day trip) ในจังหวัดสมุทรสงคราม โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมและเส้นทางท่องเที่ยวของนักท่องเที่ยวแบบภายในหนึ่งวัน (One Day Trip) และประยุกต์ใช้ทฤษฎีระบบการเดินทางขนส่งแบบลดเที่ยวเปล่า (Milk Run) โดยนำแอพพลิเคชั่นแผนที่ (Google Map) มาใช้ในการจัดเส้นทางการท่องเที่ยวแบบภายในหนึ่งวัน (One Day Trip) ในจังหวัดสมุทรสงคราม มีวิธีการศึกษาโดยการทำแบบสอบถามพฤติกรรมของนักท่องเที่ยวและแบบบันทึกข้อมูลการเดินทางท่องเที่ยว พบว่านักท่องเที่ยวนั้นยังขาดการวางแผนเส้นทางการท่องเที่ยวจึงทำให้เสียเวลาไปกับการเดินทางและทำให้การท่องเที่ยวไม่เกิดความไม่เกิดความคุ้มค่า ผลการศึกษาจากการนำทฤษฎีระบบการเดินทางขนส่งแบบลดเที่ยวเปล่า (Milk Run) และนำแอพพลิเคชั่นแผนที่ (Google Map) มาประยุกต์ใช้ในการจัดเส้นทางการท่องเที่ยวแบบภายในหนึ่งวัน (One Day Trip) ภายใต้ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการตัดสินใจทางด้านระยะเวลาในการเดินทาง จากการวิเคราะห์จะได้เส้นทางการท่องเที่ยวทั้งหมด 8 รูปแบบ มนการท่องเที่ยวแบบภายในหนึ่งวัน (One Day Trip) จากการวัดผลรูปแบบเส้นทางการท่องเที่ยว สรุปได้ว่า การเดินทางโดยรถยนต์ส่วนบุคคล 4 รูปแบบ พบว่ารูปแบบที่ 2 จากจำนวนสถานที่ท่องเที่ยว 6 สถานที่ ใช้ระยะเวลาในการเดินทางรวม 54 นาที ระยะทางรวม 27.8 กิโลเมตร และรูปแบบเส้นทางที่ 3 ในจำนวนสถานที่ท่องเที่ยว 5 สถานที่ ใช้ระยะเวลาในการเดินทางรวม 30 นาที ระยะทางรวม 15 กิโลเมตร และการเดินทางโดยรถโดยสารประจำทาง 4 รูปแบบ พบว่ารูปแบบเส้นทางที่ 1 ในจำนวนสถานที่ท่องเที่ยว 6 สถานที่ ใช้ระยะเวลาในการเดินทางรวม 43 นาที ระยะทางรวม 18.5 กิโลเมตร และรูปแบบเส้นทางที่ 3 ในจำนวนสถานที่ท่องเที่ยว 5 สถานที่ ใช้ระยะเวลาในการเดินทางรวม 37 นาที ระยะทางรวม 18.3 กิโลเมตร ซึ่งสามารถตอบสนองต่อพฤติกรรมของนักท่องเที่ยว และเป็นทางเลือกให้กับนักท่องเที่ยวในการเลือกใช้เส้นทางที่สะดวกต่อการเดินทางให้เกิดประสิทธิภาพและความคุ้มค่ามากที่สุดในการท่องเที่ยวแบบภายในหนึ่งวัน (One Day Trip) ในจังหวัดสมุทรสงคราม
