การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ ดังน

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ ดังนี้ 1) เพื่อพัฒนาแผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ การพัฒนาทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจโดยใช้นิทานอีสปของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 2) เพื่อหาค่าดัชนี ประสิทธิผลของแผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ การพัฒนาทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจโดยใช้นิทานอีสปของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 3) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบ ผลสัมฤทธิ์หลังการเรียนรู้ การอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจโดยใช้นิทานอีสปของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 4) เพื่อศึกษาความพึงพอใจที่มีต่อการเรียน โดยการพัฒนาทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจโดยใช้นิทานอีสปของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 กลุ่มเป้าหมาย คือ กลุ่มเป้าหมาย คือ นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 โรงเรียนอนุบาลนครพนม จังหวัดนครพนม จำนวน 20 คน ในภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2558
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า การจัดการเรียนรู้พัฒนาทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจโดยใช้นิทานอีสป มีจำนวน 14 คน จาก 20 คน คิดเป็นร้อยละ…… มีคะแนนผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 75 ซึ่งเป็นไปตามเกณฑ์ที่กำหนดคือ จำนวนนักเรียนไม่น้อยกว่าร้อยละ 75 มีคะแนนผ่านเกณฑ์เฉลี่ยร้อยละไม่น้อยกว่า 75
