ในการศึกษาวิจัยเรื่อง สิ่งที่ทำให้สมองและจิตใจรับรู้ความเป็นจริง ครั้งนี้ เป็นวิจัยปฏิบัติการที่อ้างอิงความคิดและความเข้าใจของแต่ละบุคคล ซึ่งผู้วิจัยได้กำหนดขอบเขตการศึกษาวิจัยดังนี้
1) ขอบเขตด้านเนื้อหา
1.1. เพื่อศึกษาผลสัมฤทธิ์จากการศึกษาสิ่งที่ทำให้สมองและจิตใจรับรู้ความเป็นจริง มีความสัมพันธ์กันอย่างไร และมีกระบวนการทำงานอย่างไร มีผลกระทบต่อการดำรงชีวิตของมนุษย์หรือไม่ อย่างไร โดยใช้รูปแบบการเรียนรู้โดยการรวบรวมข้อมูลและสำรวจเนื้อหาที่เกี่ยวข้องและเชื่อมโยงกัน ให้มากที่สุดเพื่อเปรียบเทียบและหาบทสรุปที่แท้จริง
1.2. เพื่อศึกษาความคิดเห็นที่เกิดจากการศึกษาสิ่งที่ทำให้สมองและจิตใจรับรู้ความเป็นจริง มีความสัมพันธ์กันอย่างไร และมีกระบวนการทำงานอย่างไร มีผลกระทบต่อการดำรงชีวิตของมนุษย์หรือไม่ อย่างไร โดยใช้รูปแบบการเรียนรู้โดยการรวบรวมข้อมูลและสำรวจเนื้อหาที่เกี่ยวข้องและเชื่อมโยงกัน ให้มากที่สุดเพื่อเปรียบเทียบและหาบทสรุปที่แท้จริง
2)ขอบเขตด้านประชากร
ผู้วิจัยได้กำหนดกลุ่มเป้าหมายคือ นักศึกษาโปรแกรมวิชาภาษาตะวันตก สาขาวิชาภาษาอังกฤษศึกษา คณะมนุษยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงราย จำนวน 20 คน
2.1.ขอบเขตด้านสถานที่ศึกษา
สาขาวิชาภาษาอังกฤษศึกษา คณะมนุษยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงราย
2.2. ขอบเขตด้านระยะเวลาที่ศึกษา
ศึกษาระหว่างเดือน 1 พฤศจิกายน 2558 – 30 พฤศจิกายน 255
