Past continuous (พาสทฺ คอนทินิวเอิส) หมายถึง “อดีตกาลกำลังกระทำ” มีรูปกริยาคือ was/were + verbing ดังนี้

ภาคประธาน + was/were + กริยาแท้เติม ing + ภาคกรรมหรือส่วนขยาย
