จากตาราง 5 พบว่า ปัจจัยด้านผู้เรียนในด้านพื้นฐานทางภาษาอังกฤษจากสถานศึกษาเดิมโดยภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง (ค่าเฉลี่ย 3.46) เมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายข้อ ข้อที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยมากที่สุดคือนักเรียนมีโอกาสพูดภาษาอังกฤษในชั้นเรียน (ค่าเฉลี่ย 3.94) รองลงมาคือนักเรียนมีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรมส่งเสริมการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษต่างๆ เช่น กิจกรรมค่ายภาษาอังกฤษ ชมรมภาษาอังกฤษ เป็นต้น (ค่าเฉลี่ย 3.72) ส่วนข้อที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยน้อยที่สุดคือ นักศึกษาได้ใช้ห้องปฏิบัติการทางภาษา (ค่าเฉลี่ย 2.72)
