ศูนย์ศึกษาธรรมชาติและอนุรักษ์ป่าชาย

ศูนย์ศึกษาธรรมชาติและอนุรักษ์ป่าชายเลน เพื่อการท่องเที่ยวเชิงนิเวศ จังหวัดชลบุรี ตั้งอยู่ที่ หมู่ 3 ตำบลเสม็ด อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดชลบุรี เป็นผืนป่าชายเลนที่สมบูรณ์ที่สุดและผืนสุดท้ายของชลบุรี มีเนื้อที่ 300 ไร่ เปิดดำเนินการโดยความร่วมมือของกรมป่าไม้และองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดชลบุรี
สำนักงานป่าไม้จังหวัดได้จัดตั้งศูนย์ฯ ขึ้นเพื่ออนุรักษ์ป่าชายเลน และให้เป็นแหล่งเรียนรู้แก่ประชาชน มีเส้นทางศึกษาธรรมชาติเป็นสะพานไม้ที่ยาว 2,300 เมตร ซึ่งยาวที่สุดในประเทศไทย
ตลอดเส้นทางความยาว 2,300 เมตร บนสะพานทางเดินศึกษาธรรมชาติของศูนย์ฯ จะได้พบเห็นความหลากหลายทางธรรมชาติของป่าชายเลน ไม่ว่าจะเป็นพันธุ์ไม้ป่าชายเลนและสัตว์น้ำหลากหลายชนิด ระหว่างทางจะมีศาลาชีวภาพใต้น้ำ สะพานแขวน และมีบอร์ดให้ความรู้เกี่ยวกับป่าชายเลนเป็นระยะๆ
