การศึกษาเชิงพรรณนา ครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความรู้ ทัศนคติ และพฤติกรรมการดื่มเครื่องดื่มแอลกอฮอล์ของนักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 1 คณะสาธารณสุขศาสตร์ กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ นักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 1 คณะสาธารณสุขศาสตร์ ภาคปกติ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏนครราชสีมา ปีการศึกษา 2557 จำนวน 115 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นแบบสอบถาม สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา คือ ความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการศึกษาพบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศหญิง ร้อยละ 87.0 ส่วนใหญ่มีรายได้ต่อเดือน ต่ำกว่า 6,000 บาท ร้อยละ 67.8 มีบุคคลใกล้ชิดที่ดื่มเครื่องดื่มแอลกอฮอล์ ส่วนใหญ่พบว่ามีความสัมพันธ์เป็นแบบพี่-น้อง ร้อยละ 34.9 กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ดื่มเครื่องดื่มแอลกอฮอล์ร้อยละ 18.3 กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ดื่มเครื่องดื่มแอลกอฮอล์มีระยะเวลาการดื่มเครื่องดื่มแอลกอฮอล์ คือ อยากลอง ร้อยละ 76.2 เมื่อวิเคราะห์ระดับความรู้เกี่ยวกับเครื่องดื่มที่มีแอลกอฮอล์ของกลุ่มตัวอย่างในภาพรวม พบว่ามีระดับ ความรู้สูง ร้อยละ 56.2 เมื่อวิเคราะห์ระดับทัศนคติอยู่ในช่วงระดับสูง ร้อยละ 68.6 เมื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมการดื่มเครื่องดื่มแอลกอฮอล์ของกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ดื่มแอลกอฮอล์ พบว่า มีระดับพฤติกรรมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ร้อยละ 66.7
ข้อมูลที่ได้จากผลการศึกษาในครั้งนี้ สามารถนำมาเป็นแนวทางในการสร้างเครือข่ายจัดกิจกรรมรณรงค์ป้องกันการดื่มแอลกอฮอล์ในสถานศึกษาได้
