บทนำ
1.1 ความเป็นมาและความสำคัญของปัญหา
วิทยาลัยพยาบาลบรมราชชนนี ขอนแก่น เป็นสถาบันอุดมศึกษาสังกัดสถาบันพระบรมราชชนกของสำนักงานปลัดกระทรวงสาธารณสุขเปิดสอนหลักสูตรพยาบาลศาสตรบัณฑิต ซึ่งมีการเรียนการสอนเป็นระยะเวลา 4 ปี จำนวนหน่วยกิต รวมตลอดหลักสูตร 144 หน่วยกิต ซึ่งจะแบ่งเป็นหมวดวิชาทั่วไป 30 หน่วยกิต หมวดวิชาชีพเฉพาะ 108 หน่วยกิตจะแบ่งเป็นภาคทฤษฏีและภาคปฏิบัติ หมวดวิชาเลือกอีก 6 หน่วยกิต วัตถุประสงค์ของหลักสูตรในการผลิตพยาบาลศาสตร์บัณฑิตทุกหลักสูตรมุ่งหวังผลิตพยาบาลให้มีคุณภาพ มีคุณลักษณะบัณฑิตที่พึงประสงค์ บัณฑิตต้องมีความสามารถในการคิด วิเคราะห์ การแก้ปัญหาอย่างเป็นระบบ ใฝ่รู้และพัฒนาตนเองได้ตลอดชีวิต เมื่อสำเร็จการศึกษาตามหลักสูตรนี้แล้ว ผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาจะต้องมีความสามารถในการใฝ่หาความรู้ พัฒนาตนเองและวิชาชีพหลักสูตรกำหนดช่วงเวลาในการส่งเสริมให้นักศึกษาเรียนรู้เพิ่มเติมเพื่อให้นักศึกษาได้เรียนรู้ด้วยตนเอง ซึ่งเป็นการยึดหลักว่าผู้เรียนทุกคนมีความสามารถเรียนรู้และพัฒนาตนเองและถือว่ามีความสำคัญที่สุดด้วยการจัดการศึกษา ต้องส่งเสริมให้ผู้เรียนสามารถพัฒนาตามธรรมชาติและเต็มศักยภาพ การริเริ่มการเรียนรู้ด้วยตนเองผู้เรียนสามารถเรียนรู้เรื่องราวต่างๆมากกว่าการเรียนแบบให้ผู้สอนป้อนความรู้เพียงอย่างเดียว ทำให้ผู้เรียนเกิดแรงจูงใจในการเรียน มีการเรียนที่ดี การเรียนรู้ด้วยตนเองมาจากหลักจิตวิทยาที่เชื่อว่า บุคคลเมื่อมีวุฒิภาวะมากพอสามารถรับผิดชอบตนเองได้ มีความต้องการที่จะรับผิดชอบตนเองมากขึ้น นอกจากนี้ยังเป็นลักษณะการเรียนที่เปิดกว้างที่สอดคล้องกับการศึกษาปัจจุบันที่เน้นผู้เรียนเป็นสำคัญ การเรียนรู้ด้วยตนเองนอกจากจะสร้างให้คนมีการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิตแล้วยังสนับสนุนแหล่งการเรียนรู้ โอกาสให้ผู้เรียนเป็นผู้แสดงความรู้และความสามารถด้วยตนเองโดยผู้เรียนจะเป็นผู้ออกไปศึกษาสิ่งที่ตนอยากรู้จากเอกสารวิชาการหรือแหล่งความรู้ที่ได้มาจนทำให้เกิดความรู้ที่ชัดเจน นอกจากนี้การเรียนรู้ต้องให้ผู้เรียนลงมือปฏิบัติจริงจนพบความรู้และเรียนรู้การวิเคราะห์จนรู้จริงและลึกซึ้ง กลวิธีหนึ่งที่ใช้ในการเตรียมนักศึกษาเป็นผู้ที่ใฝ่รู้คือการยึดผู้เรียนเป็นศูนย์กลางเป็นการเปิดโอกาสผู้เรียนเรียนรู้เอง เลือกเนื้อหาที่ต้องการศึกษาค้นคว้าเองตามความสนใจ กำหนดวัตถุประสงค์การเรียนรู้เอง เลือกวิธีการเรียนเอง เพื่อเป็นการตอบสนองความต้องการของผู้เรียนจนทำให้กลายเป็นผู้ใฝ่รู้ได้ในที่สุด
จากหลักสูตรการสอนของวิทยาลัยพยาบาลบรมราชชนนี ขอนแก่น ปีการศึกษา 2557 มีการจัดการสอนที่เน้นการเรียนรู้ด้วยตนเองจะเห็นว่านักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 2 ซึ่งเป็นชั้นปีที่มีการเรียนการสอนที่มีเนื้อหาเริ่มเข้าสู่วิชาชีพพยาบาลเป็นปีแรก การปรับตัวในการเตรียมความพร้อมในการขึ้นฝึกปฏิบัติบนตึกผู้ป่วยจึงต้องมีความรู้ที่พร้อมจะดูแลผู้ป่วยเมื่อขึ้นฝึกปฏิบัติ ต้องมีการศึกษาหาความรู้มาก่อน มีการเรียนรู้ด้วยตนเองมากขึ้นเพื่อจะได้นำไปใช้ในการเรียนในชั้นปีที่สูงขึ้น เป็นการสร้างและเตรียมความพร้อมในการเรียนรู้ด้วยตนเอง จากการสังเกตพฤติกรรมของนักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 2 วิทยาลัยพยาบาลบรมราชชนนี ขอนแก่น พบว่านักศึกษามีพฤติกรรมการเรียนรู้ด้วยตนเองน้อย ซึ่งนักศึกษาส่วนมากใช้เวลาในการทำธุระส่วนตัวมากกว่าการศึกษาค้นคว้าด้วยตนเอง เช่น การดูโทรทัศน์ เล่นอินเทอร์เน็ต ฟังเพลง อ่านหนังสือการ์ตูน คุยโทรศัพท์กับเพื่อน นอนหลับ เป็นต้น โดยจะเห็นได้ว่านักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 2 ยังขาดความพร้อมในการเรียนรู้ด้วยตนเอง
นอกจากนี้สภาพสถานการณ์โลกในยุคปัจจุบันเต็มไปด้วยข้อมูลข่าวสารที่พุ่งเข้าหาตัวคน ไม่ว่าจะอยู่ ณ ที่ใด ทำให้คนต้องคิดและตัดสินใจรวดเร็วขึ้น สังคมมีความสลับซับซ้อนมากขึ้น ในขณะเดียวกันบทบาทของสื่อสารมวลชนก็เชื่อมโยงคนเข้าหากันอย่างใกล้ชิดมากขึ้น เกิดโรคติดต่ออุบัติใหม่ เช่น การเปลี่ยนแปลงวิถีชีวิตและพฤติกรรม ความก้าวหน้าทางเทคโนโลยี การรบกวนธรรมชาติและระบบนิเวศ การเดินทางที่สะดวกทำให้โรคแพร่กระจายอย่างรวดเร็วล้วนมีส่วนทำให้เกิดโรคติดต่ออุบัติใหม่ขึ้นมากมายในช่วงที่ผ่านมา เช่น โรคซาร์ส โรคไข้หวัดนก โรคติดเชื้อไวรัสนิปาห์ โรคติดเชื้อ ไวรัสอีโบลา โรคไข้หวัดใหญ่สายพันธุ์ใหม่ เป็น จำเป็นที่จะต้องศึกษาเรียนรู้ด้วยตนเองอยู่ตลอดเวลา เพื่อให้ทันกับยุคสมัยที่เปลี่ยนแปลงจากการทบทวนวรรณกรรมพบว่าปัจจัยที่ส่งเสริมความพร้อมในการเรียนรู้ด้วยตัวเอง คือ แรงจูงใจใฝ่สัมฤทธิ์และลักษณะมุ่งอนาคต ผู้วิจัยจึงได้ศึกษา และสรุปได้ว่าบุคคลที่มีแรงจูงใจใฝ่สัมฤทธิ์และลักษณะมุ่งอนาคต การตั้งเป้าหมายจะช่วยให้มีปัจจัยดังกล่าว ซึ่งจากทฤษฎีการตั้งเป้าหมายได้กล่าวไว้ว่า การตั้งเป้าหมายมีอิทธิพลต่อการกระตุ้นเร้าให้บุคคลเกิดความพยายามในการทำสิ่งใดสิ่งหนึ่งให้สำเร็จ
ดังนั้นคณะวิจัยจึงได้สร้างเครื่องมือที่ช่วยในการส่งเสริมพฤติกรรมความพร้อมการเรียนรู้ด้วยตัวเองโดยประยุกต์จากทฤษฎีการตั้งเป้าหมายในรูปนวัตกรรมสมุดบันทึก “My Goals” ซึ่งประกอบด้วย 8 ด้าน ได้แก่ 1) การเปิดโอกาสในการเรียนรู้ 2) มโนภาพของตนในด้านการเป็นผู้เรียนที่มีประสิทธิภาพ 3) ความคิดริเริ่มในการเรียนรู้ด้วยตนเอง 4) ความรับผิดชอบต่อการเรียนรู้ของตนเอง 5) ความรักในการเรียนรู้ 6) ความคิดสร้างสรรค์ 7) การมองอนาคตในแง่ดี 8) ความสามารถในการใช้ทักษะศึกษาหาความสำเร็จและทักษะในการแก้ปัญหาเพื่อจะได้เป็นตัวกระตุ้นให้นักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 2 มีการศึกษาหาความรู้ด้วยตนเองมากขึ้นเพื่อจะได้เตรียมความพร้อมเข้าสู่การเรียนในวิชาชีพทางการพยาบาล โดยจะใช้กระบวนการเรียนรู้ที่ผู้เรียนเลือกกลวิธีการเรียนด้วยตนเองตามความสนใจ รับผิดชอบตนเองสามารถที่จะควบคุมตนเองพยายามค้นหาสิ่งใหม่ๆด้วยตนเองเพื่อให้บรรลุวัตถุประสงค์ เมื่อพิจารณาแล้วสำหรับวิชาชีพพยาบาล การศึกษาด้วยตนเองเป็นสิ่งที่มีความสำคัญและนักศึกษาควรให้ความสำคัญ ตามจุดมุ่งหมายหลักการศึกษาวิชาชีพที่สมาคมพยาบาลแห่งประเทศไทยได้กล่าวไว้ คือ นักศึกษาต้องมีความรู้ความสามารถ สามารถให้การพยาบาลสมบูรณ์แบบแก่ผู้ป่วย เพื่อแก้ปัญหาและสนองความต้องการทางด้านร่างกายและจิตใจ วิชาชีพพยาบา
