สับปะรดเป็นพืชเศรษฐกิจที่สำคัญสามารถปลูกได้ทุกภูมิภาคของประเทศ การปลูกสับปะรดของเกษตรกรภาคตะวันออกและภาคตะวันตก จะเป็นการปลูกเพื่อส่งโรงงานผลไม้กระป๋องแต่ในภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือนั้นเป็นการปลูกรับประทานสดในระดับจังหวัดนครพนม ความต้องการของสับปะรดยังมีมากทั้งฤดูกาลมีหลายพื้นที่ ที่ปลูกเพราะสภาพแวดล้อมเอื้ออำนวยและผู้คนนิยมปลูกกันส่งขายให้ผู้ประกอบการหรือโรงงาน ดั้งนั้นกลุ่มเรามีความสนใจอย่างยิ่งที่จะนำการศึกษาสับปะรดเพื่อผลผลิตที่ดีขึ้น
วัตถุประสงค์
-เพื่อศึกษาพันธุ์ที่ปลูกมากในท้องถิ่นและแก้ปัญหา
-เพื่อส่งเสริมการผลิตให้ได้มาตรฐานมากยิ่งขึ้น และประหยัดงบประมาณในการผลิต
ขอบเขตการศึกษา
ประชากร คือ ชาวบ้านคำเตย
กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือ นาย ไพบูลย์ โยธาตรี
