จังหวัดชัยนาทมีพื้นที่ป่าสงวนแห่งชาติ2 แห่ง คือ
1) ป่าสงวนแห่งชาติป่าเขาช่องลมและป่าเขาหลักตามกฎกระทรวงฉบับทที่188 (พ.ศ.2506) ออกตามความในพระราชบัญญัติคุ้มครองและสงวนป่าพุทธศักราช2481 เนื้อที่ประมาณ54.99 ตารางกิโลเมตร อยู่ในพื้นที่ตําบลวังตะเคียน ตําบลหนองมะโมง และตําบลสะพานหิน กิ่งอําเภอหนอง มะโมง จังหวัดชัยนาท
2) ป่าสงวนแห่งชาติป่าเขาราวเทียนตามกฎกระทรวงฉบับที่406(พ.ศ.2512) ออกตามความใน พระราชบัญญัติป่าสงวนแห่งชาติ พ.ศ. 2507 เนื้อที่ประมาณ 70.34 ตารางกิโลเมตร อยู่ในท้องที่ ตําบลไพรนกยูงอําเภอหันคา ตําบลเนินขาม ตําบลสุขเดือนห้า และตําบลกระบกเตี้ย กิ่งอําเภอเนินขาม จังหวัดชัยนาท
