ประวัติกีฬาเทนนิส ความเป็นมาของ กีฬาเทนนิส (Tennis)


มีหลักฐานพบว่า ประมาณศตวรรษที่ 13 ประเทศฝรั่งเศสมีการเล่นเกมส์ซึ่งเป็นต้นกำเนิดของกีฬาเทนนิสเรียกว่า Le Jeu Du Paume (เจอเดอปูม) หรือเป็นภาษาอังกฤษว่า The Game of the Palm (เกมส์ของฝ่ามือ) เป็นกีฬาของชนชั้นสูงที่เล่นในร่มโดยใช้ฝ่ามือตีลูกบอลทรงกลม หลังจากนั้นจึงมีการใช้เเร็คเก็ตเเทนฝ่ามือ
