เพราะปัจจุบันระบบการเรียนของไทยเน้นแค่เรื่องเรียน และทฤษฎี และยังปลูกฝังค่านิยมการเรียนพิเศษ เพื่อนำไปใช้ได้เพียงในการสอบแต่เอามาประยุกต์ใช้ในชีวิตประจำวันแทบไม่ได้ เราจึงควรส่งเสริมวิชาพละศึกษามากขึ้น เพื่อที่เด็กจะได้ออกกำลัง และผ่อยคลาย และหันมาสนใจสุขภาพตนเองมากขึ้น เพราะกีฬาไม่ได้เสริมสร้างแค่ความแข็งแรงของร่างกาย แต่ยังมีส่วนช่วยในการเจริญเติบโตด้วย และกีฬายังเป็นตัวฝึกไหวพริบและเรียนรู้การทำงานเป็นทีม และยังได้สุขภาพที่ดีอีกด้วย
ดังนั้น เราจึงเห็นด้วยว่าพละศึกษาควรเป็นหนึ่งในวิชาหลักให้นักเรียน เพราะเป็นช่วงวัยที่กำลังเจริญเติบดตและเรียนรู้
