จากการที่่อู่พรกินรีการช่างได้นำเครื่องเกี่ยวนวดข้าวรุ่น 95 เข้าร่วมประกวดเครื่องเกี่ยวนวดข้าว ในการเกี่ยวข้าวนาปี พุทธศักราช 2552 ซึ่งจัดโดยมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นร่วมกับสำนักงานพัฒนาวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีแห่งชาติ (สวทช.) ณ ตำบลสระคู อำเภอสุวรรณภูมิ จังหวัดร้อยเอ็ด ในวันที่ 11 ตุลาคม 2552 คณะผู้จัดได้มีการจัดประชุมอู่/โรงงานที่ส่งเครื่องเกี่ยวนวดข้าวเข้าร่วมประกวดปละประกาศผลการประกวด ในวันที่ 20 พฤศจิกายน 2552 ณ โรงแรมสองพันบุรี อ.เมือง จ.สุพรรณบุรี โดยผลพบว่าอู่พรกินรีการช่างได้รับใบประกาศว่าเครื่องเกี่ยวนวดข้าวมีความสูญเสียผลผลิตรวมน้อยกว่าร้อยละ 3 และได้รางวัลขวัญใจในการประกวดเครื่องเกี่ยวนวดข้าว ปี 2552 มาอีกหนึ่งรางวัล โดยมี ศาตราจารย์ ดร.กนก วงษ์ตระหง่าน ที่ปรึกษานายกรัฐมนตรี (นายอภิสิทธิ์ เวชชาชีวะ) เป็นประธานในการประกาศผล มอบใบประกาศและรางวัล รับรางวัลความสูญเสียผลผลิตรวมน้อยกว่าร้อยละ 3
