งานวิจัยนี้เป็นการศึกษาปัญหาการผลิตยาในรูปแบบแคปซูลโดยใช้เครื่องจักรที่เป็นการผลิตระดับอุตสาหกรรม โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์ที่จะทำการพัฒนาสูตรตำหรับแคปซูลยาแผนโบราณ เทพประทาน สูตร 2 ซึ่งประกอบด้วยสมุนไพร 6 ชนิด คือขิง พริกไทย กระเทียม ดีปลี มะนาว และไพลคณะผู้วิจัยได้ทำการทดลองบรรจุผงยาด้วยเครื่องบรรจุแคปซูลด้วยมือในห้องปฏิบัติการพบว่าสามารถบรรจุผงยา 500 mg ผงยาเต็มแคปซูลพอดีและเมื่อนำไปตรวจสอบตามเกณฑ์มาตรฐานการผลิตสมุนไพรในรูปแบบแคปซูลแล้ว คุณสมบัติต่างๆอยู่ในเกณฑ์มาตรฐาน ในการผลิตโดยใช้เครื่องบรรจุแคปซูลโดยอัตโนมัติไม่สามารถใช้แรงกดอัดตัวยาลงในเครื่องบรรจุแคปซูลได้เหมือนการบรรจุแคปซูลด้วยมือ หากตามสูตรตำรับผงยามีปริมาณไม่เต็มแคปซูลต้องมีการเติมสารเพิ่มปริมาณ หรือถ้าบรรจุแคปซูลได้ไม่หมดก็ต้องเพิ่ม ขนาดในการรับประทานให้มากขึ้น
