The moisture content of the material in the drying rate begins from changing steady to
decrease. At this point, the traveling of the fluid to the surface for liquid replacement that
evaporates is inadequate. Therefore, the humidity crisis depends on the difficulty of the
movement of fluid to the surface, the porosity and size of voids in the material.
Equilibrium Moisture Content, Mea
After drying the material using air stable condition, the moisture content of the material is
lowered to a point where material has constant moisture or moisture in the material will have a
vapor pressure equal to pressure of surrounding air. It is called Equilibrium Moisture Content. The
equilibrium moisture content depends on the type of material, temperature and humidity of the
air.
