ประเทศไทยมี 3 ฤดู คือ ฤดูร้อน ฤดูฝน และฤดูหนาว แต่ภาคใต้ของประเทศไทยจะมี 2 ฤดู คือ ฤดูร้อน และฤดูฝน

1. ฤดูหนาว
ระยะเวลาประมาณ สี่เดือน อากาศโดยทั่วไปค่อนข้างเย็น ยกเว้นทางภาคเหนือและภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือซึ่งเป็นที่สูง จะมีอากาศหนาวกว่าภาคอื่นๆ ช่วงเดือน พฤศจิกายน-กุมภาพันธ์

2.ฤดูร้อน
ระยะเวลาประมาณ สามเดือน ในระยะนี้ดวงอาทิตย์ได้โคจรส่องแสงมาตั้งฉากกับประเทศพอดี ทำให้อากาศร้อนอบอ้าว โดยเฉพาะเดือนเมษายนจะอุณหภูมิสูงสุดของปี ช่วงเดือนมีนาคม-พฤษภาคม

3.ฤดูฝน
ระยะเวลาประมาณ 5 เดือนอากาศโดยทั่วไปจะชุ่มชื้น และมีฝนตกกระจายทั่วประเทศ โดยฝนตกชุกในเดือนสิงหาคม-กันยายน
หน้าฝนจะอยุ่ในช่วงเดือน มิถุนายนถึงตุลาคม

ฤดูร้อนเป็นฤดูที่ฉันชอบมากที่สุด เพราะเป็นช่วงที่เหมาะกับการเที่ยวด้วยสภาพอากาศที่ท้องฟ้าแจ่มใสฝนไม่ตก วันหยุดก็เยอะยิ่งในช่วงสงกรานต์ อีกทั้งยังเป็นช่วงปิดภาคเรียนอีกด้วย ส่วนสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวในช่วงหน้าร้อนที่เป็นที่นิยมและเป็นสถานที่ที่หลายๆคนนึกถึงกันมากที่สุด ก็คือ ทะเลนั่นเอง
ฤดูหนาว ถือว่าเป็นช่วงที่มีอากาศดีมากที่สุดของปี เหมาะแก่การเที่ยวภูเขา เพื่อสูดอากาศบริสุทธิ์และสัมผัสอากาศหนาวๆบนภูเขา
ส่วนฤดูฝนเป็นฤดูที่ฉันไม่ชอบที่สุด เพราะอากาศชื่น แฉะ การเดินทางลำบากและเสี่ยงต่อการเกิดอุบัติเหตุมากที่สุด เนื่องจากถนนลื่น
