กิจกรรมการพยาบาล
1.เช็ดตัวลดไข้ด้วยน้ำธรรมดาอย่างนุ่มนวล
เพราะน้ำจะช่วยพาความร้อนออกจากร่างกายทางผิวหนังทำให้อุณหภูมิลดลงและทำให้ผู้ป่วยสบายขึ้น
2.ดูแลให้ยา Fortum 1 gm v injection และ Fortum 2 gm v drip ทุก 8 ชั่วโมง
เพราะเป็นยาปฏิชีวนะจะยับยั้งการสร้างผนังเซลล์ของแบคทีเรีย จะฆ่าเชื้อกรัมลบกรัมบวก anaerobes และ pseudomonas aeruginosa ได้ดี รักษาอาการติดเชื้อจากแบคทีเรีย
3.ดูแลให้ผู้ป่วยพักผ่อน
เพราะเป็นการลดอัตราการเผาผลาญภายในเซลล์ ลดการทำงานของกล้ามเนื้อ เป็นการลดการผลิตความร้อน ทำให้อุณหภูมิร่างกายลดลง
4.ดูแลให้ผู้ป่วยดื่มน้ำบ่อยๆ
เพราะเป็นการทดแทนการขาดน้ำและเป็นการลดความร้อนของร่างกายโดยการขับออกทางเหงื่อและปัสสาวะ
5.ล้างมือทุกครั้ง ก่อน-หลังให้การพยาบาลหรือการสัมผัสกับสารคัดหลั่งผู้ป่วย และให้การพยาบาลโดยใช้หลัก Aseptic Technique
เพราะเป็นการลดการแพร่กระจายเชื้อ
6. vital sign ทุก 4 ชม
เพราะการประเมินสัญญาณชีพ โดยเฉพาะอุณหภูมิร่างกายจะช่วยให้ทราบความรุนแรงของการติดเชื้อทางเดินหายใจ
7.ติดตามผล Lab WBC Neutrophil Lymphocyte
เพราะ WBC เป็นจำนวนเม็ดเลือดขาว ซึ่งส่วนใหญ่มักจะมีค่าผิดปกติเมื่อมีการติดเชื้อในร่างกาย เช่น จากเชื้อแบคทีเรีย หรือเชื้อไวรัส Neutrophil จะพบสูงขึ้นในภาวะติดเชื้อจำพวกแบคทีเรีย และ Lymphocyte จะพบสูงขึ้นในภาวะที่มีการติดเชื้อไวรัสอย่างเฉียบพลันหรือภาวะที่มีการติดเชื้อแบคทีเรียที่เรื้อรัง
