ตั้งแต่ตอนมัธยมผมมีตั้งใจที่จะเลือกเรียนทางด้านสายวิทยาศาสตร์ และเข้าศึกษาต่อระดับปริญญาตรีทางด้านสาขา Biotechnology ในระหว่างที่เรียนนั้น ผมได้มีโอกาสฝึกงานที่โรงพยาบาลพระมงกุฎเกล้า ภายในแผนกพยาธิวิทยา (pathology) และจากการฝึกงานนี้ ทำให้ความสนใจและความต้องการที่จะศึกษาต่อทางด้านสาขาทางการแพทย์ที่ผมสนใจอยู่แล้ว มีเพิ่มมากขึ้นไปอีก เมื่อผมจบปริญญาตรีผมจึงมีความตั้งใจอย่างแน่วแน่ที่จะเข้าศึกษาต่อปริญญาโททางด้านสาขาวิชานี้
