การศึกษานี้ใช้แบบสอบถามเป็นเครื่องมือในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากกลุ่มตัวอย่างจำนวน 200 ตัวอย่างโดยแบ่งออกเป็นบริเวณพื้นที่มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏมหาสารคาม 100 ตัวอย่าง และบริเวณพื้นที่มหาวิทยาลัยมหาสารคาม 100 ตัวอย่าง ใช้วิธีการเลือกเก็บตัวอย่างแบบสุ่ม ณ พื้นที่การศึกษา และใช้การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา ได้แก่ ความถี่ ค่าเฉลี่ย และร้อยละ
