ด้วยเหตุ (แห่งการฆ่ากันระหว่างมนุษย์ที่นำมาแต่ความหายนะ) ดังกล่าว เรา(อัลลอฮ์) จึงได้กำหนดแก่ลูกหลานอิสรออีลว่า ผู้ใดที่ฆ่าชีวิตหนึ่งโดยมิชอบด้วยเหตุของการคร่าชีวิตผู้อื่น และไม่ใช่ด้วยเหตุของการก่อความเสียหายใดๆบนแผ่นดิน นั่นเสมือนว่า เขาได้ฆ่าผู้คนทั้งหมดแล้ว และผู้ใดที่ให้ชีวิต (แก่ผู้ใดผู้หนึ่ง)นั่นเสมือนว่าเขาได้ให้ชีวิตแก่ผู้คนทั้งหมดแล้ว
