พระมหาธาตุนภเมทนีดลและพระมหาธาตุนภพลภูมิสิริ ตรงหลักกิโลเมตรที่ 41.5 ทางด้านซ้ายมือ สร้างขึ้นโดยกองทัพอากาศร่วมกับพสกนิกรชาวไทย โดยพระมหาธาตุนภเมทนีดล สร้างถวายพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวภูมิพลอดุลยเดช เนื่องในวโรกาสทรงเจริญพระชนมพรรษาครบ 5 รอบ เมื่อพ.ศ. 2530 และพระมหาธาตุนภพลภูมิสิริ สร้างถวายสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าฯ พระบรมราชินีนาถ ในวโรกาสทรงเจริญพระชนมพรรษาครบ 5 รอบ เมื่อพ.ศ. 2535 พระมหาธาตุทั้ง 2 องค์นี้ มีรูปทรงคล้ายคลึงกัน คือ ฐานเป็นรูป 12 เหลี่ยม มีระเบียงแก้วโดยรอบเป็น 2 ระดับ ยอดปลีขององค์เป็นที่ประดิษฐานพระบรมสารีริกธาตุและพระพุทธรูปบูชา รอบบริเวณสามารถมองเห็นทิวทัศน์ของดอยอินทนนท์ได้อย่างสวยงาม
