หมู่บ้านชาวเลสังกาอู้มีประเพณีความเชื่อเป็นของตนเอง ที่แสดงเอกลักษณ์ความเป็นกลุ่มชาติพันธ์ได้อย่างชัดเจน และปัจจุบันยังคงมีประเพณีนี้คือ -พิธีบูชาแม่ย่านางเรือ เป็นพิธีกรรมหนึ่งซึ่งเกี่ยวข้องกับการทำมาหากินในชีวิตของหมู่บ้านชาวเลสังกาอู้ ครอบครัวใดที่มีเรือออกทะเลต้องถือเป็นธรรมเนียมปฏิบัติในกรทำพิธีนี้เพื่อความเป็นสิริมงคลต่อการทำมาหากิน และถือเป็นการบอกกล่าวให้แม่ย่านางเรือประจำเรือแต่ละลำรู้ เพื่อจะได้คุ้มครองไม่ให้เกิดอุบัตติเหตุเวลาออกทะเล และเพื่อให้ได้จับปลาหรือสัตว์ทะเลต่างๆได้เยอะ
-พิธีลอยเรือ เป็นพิธีที่ถือว่าสำคัญสำหรับหมู่บ้านชาวเลสังกาอู้มากที่สุด และเป็นพิธีที่ยังคงสืบทอดมาจนถึงปัจจุบัน หมู่บ้านชาวเลสังกาอู้จะจัดพิธีนี้ทุกปี ปีละ 2 ครั้ง ใช้เวลาครั้งละ 2 วัน คือวันขึ้น 14 ค่ำ วันขึ้น 15 ค่ำ ของเดือน 6 และเดือน 11 เรือที่นำไปลอยเรียกว่า “เรือปาจั๊ก” -วัตถุประสงค์ในการลอยเรือ 1) เพื่อสะเดาะเคราะห์ให้ผีร้ายความเจ็บไข้ทั้งหลายทั้งปวงหายไปจากชุมชน
2) เพื่อส่งวิญญาณบรรพบุรุษไปสู่แดนสถิต คือ “ฆูนุงฌีรัย” ตามความเชื่อ
3) เพื่อส่งวิญญาณสัตว์ที่เคยฆ่าเป็นอาหารให้เจ้าของเดิม
