หัวเขื่อนคลองท่างิ้ว ตั้งอยู่บนคลองท่างิ้ว ในเขตตําบลคลองท่างิ้ว อําเภอห้วยยอด จังหวัดตรัง

ระยะเวลาก่อสร้าง 7 ปี (2537 – 2543) ขนาดความจุ 18.50 ล้านลูกบาศก์เมตร
1. เพื่อใช้เป็นแหล่งเก็บกักน้ำ
2. เพื่อใช้เป็นแหล่งเก็บกักน้ำ สําหรับการอุปโภค – บริโภค
3. เพื่อยกฐานะความเป็นอยู่ของราษฎรในพื้นที่
4. เพื่อเพิ่มความอุดมสมบูรณ์ของป่าไม้ต้นน้ำ
5. เพื่อเป็นแหล่งน้ำดินสําหรับการประปาของอําเภอห้วยยอดในอนาคต
