โครงงานวิทยาศาสตร์ หมายถึง การศึกษา

โครงงานวิทยาศาสตร์ หมายถึง การศึกษาค้นคว้าความรู้ด้วยตนเอง โดยอาศัยวิธีการทางวิทยาศาสตร์และทักษะทางวิทยาศาสตร์ภายใต้การแนะนำ ปรึกษา ดูแลของครูหรือผู้เชี่ยวชาญในเรื่อง นั้น ๆ
ประเภทโครงงานวิทยาศาสตร์
1. โครงงานประเภทสำรวจ หมายถึง การสำรวจข้อมูลต่าง ๆ ที่เกิดจากความอยากรู้อยากเห็น เพื่อนำมาประกอบการศึกษาหรือการจำแนกเป็นหมวดหมู่ ทั้งนี้ไม่ต้องคำนึงถึงตัวแปรต่าง ๆ การเก็บข้อมูลโดยการออกไปสำรวจนอกห้องปฏิบัติการหรือที่เรียกว่า สำรวจภาคสนามหรือบางครั้งอาจจะนำส่วนต่าง ๆ นั้นมาศึกษาในห้องปฏิบัติการด้วยก็ได้
