ผลการวิจัย พบว่า ความต้องการจำเป็นเกี่ยวกับสมรรถนะด้านการบริหารจัดการชั้นเรียนของครูคณิตศาสตร์ สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษาพิจิตร เขต 1 จากมากไปน้อย คือ 1) การแก้ปัญหานักเรียนที่อ่อนคณิตศาสตร์โดยจัดกิจกรรมที่เสริมทักษะนักเรียนอ่อนคณิตศาสตร์ 2) การตรวจสอบ วัสดุ อุปกรณ์ ในการจัดการเรียนการสอนคณิตศาสตร์ 3) การพัฒนาสื่อ นวัตกรรมและใช้เทคโนโลยี ให้เหมาะกับบริบทห้องเรียน และผู้เรียนในรายวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ 4. การเปิดโอกาสให้นักเรียนมีส่วนร่วมได้สร้างสรรค์ชิ้นงาน ที่นอกเหนือจากแบบฝึกหัดตามการเรียนการสอนปกติ และ สามารถกำหนดเวลาส่งชิ้นงานเองได้ 5) การเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้เรียนสะท้อนคิด (ก่อน – ระหว่าง และหลัง) ปฏิบัติกิจกรรมการเรียนการสอนในรายวิชาคณิตศาสตร์
