ผลของการวิจัย ศิลปะการใช้ภาษาในนวนิยายเรื่อง “ช่างสำราญ” แบงออกไดเป็น 4 ประเด็นหลัก ไดแก การใช้คำ การใช้ ประโยค การใช้สำนวนโวหาร และการใช้ภาพพจน์ ตามลำดับต่อไปนี้
1. การใช้คำ
ศิลปะการใช้ภาษาของเดือนวาด พิมวนา ด้านการใช้คำ ที่ปรากฏใน นวนิยายเรื่อง “ช่างสำราญ”
มี 19 ลักษณะ ได้แก่ การใช้คำแสดงอารมณ์ความรู้สึก แสดงอาการเคลื่อนไหว บอกแสง สี เสียง กลิ่น รส แสดงการสัมผัส การใช้คำที่ต่างไปจากปกติ การเล่นสัมผัสเสียงของคำ การซ้ำคำ การหลากคำ การใช้คำ แบบ บันไดคำ การใช้สร้อยคำ การใช้คำที่มีความหมายตรงกันข้าม การใช้คำภาษาต่างประเทศ การใช้ภาษาพูด การใช้คำไม่สุภาพ และการละคำเชื่อม ดังนี้
