3. นำไคโตซานที่ตวงแล้ว 1mL.ใส่ลงในถาดที่มีน้ำ 1000 mL.
4. นำผักทั้ง 3 ชนิด ได้แก่ ผักชี ผักกาดหอม และโหระพา แช่ลงในถาดที่เตรียมไว้เป็นเวลา 15 นาที
5. นำผักออกจากถาด สะเด็ดน้ำแล้วตั้งทิ้งไว้ในถาดที่เตรียมไว้ เริ่มจับเวลา
6. สังเกตและบันทึกเปลี่ยนแปลงของผักทั้ง 3 ชนิด โดยการถ่ายภาพทุกถาด ถ่ายตั้งแต่เริ่มตั้งทิ้งไว้ 2ชั่วโมง, 4 ชั่วโมง, 6 ชั่วโมง และ 24 ชั่วโมงตามลำดับ
7. ทำการทดลองข้อ 1 – 6 ซ้ำ โดยเปลี่ยนไคโตซานเป็น 5, 10, 15, 20 mL.และน้ำ 1000 mL.
