การปฏิบัติทางการเกษตรที่ดีสําหรับพืช (Good Agriculture Practices : GAP)
สําหรับประเทศไทย กรมวิชาการเกษตร กระทรวงเกษตรและสหกรณ์ เป็นหน่วยงานที่มีหน้าที่ในการ
ตรวจรับรองระบบการจัดการคุณภาพ : การปฏิบัติทางการเกษตรที่ดีสําหรับพืช (GAP) โดยได้กําหนดข้อกําหนด

โดยปัจจัยที่ใช้ในการตรวจประเมินแปลงผลิตของเกษตรกรเพื่อให้ได้ตามระบบการจัดการคุณภาพพืช
“เกษตรดีที่เหมาะสม” (GAP) มีการตรวจสอบอย่างน้อย 8 ปัจจัย คือ

• พื้นที่ปลูก
• การใช้วัตถุอันตรายทางการเกษตร
• การเก็บรักษาและขนย้ายผลผลิตภายในแปลง
• การบันทึกข้อมูล
• การผลิตให้ปลอดจากศัตรูพืช
• การจัดกระบวนการผลิตเพื่อให้ได้ผลิตผลคุณภาพ
