สมเด็จพระเทพฯ เสด็จฯเปิดงานตรุษจีน เยาวราช 2557 ภายใต้แนวคิด “มะเมียมงคลชัย ศักราชใหม่มั่งมี สุขขีเยาวราช” มีม้าเป็นสัญลักษณ์มงคลของงาน หมายถึงความแข็งแรง ว่องไว โดยมีคนไทยเชื้อสายจีนให้ความสนใจเข้าร่วมงานอย่างคับคั่ง

วันนี้ (31 ม.ค.) เมื่อเวลา 16.15 น. สมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี เสด็จพระราชดำเนินไปยังวัดไตรมิตรวิทยารามวรวิหาร เพื่อทรงเป็นประธานเปิดงานเทศกาลตรุษจีนเยาวราช ปี 2557 ซึ่งจัดขึ้นภายใต้แนวคิด “มะเมียมงคลชัย ศักราชใหม่มั่งมี สุขีเยาวราช” มีม้าเป็นสัญลักษณ์มงคล โดยทรงฉลองพระองค์เสื้อยืดคอจีนสีแดง ทรงสักการะพระพุทธมหาสุวรรณปฏิมากร หรือ หลวงพ่อทองคำ
