จากการทดลองจุดธูปทั้ง 2 กลิ่น ปรากฏว่า
- กลิ่นใบมะกรูดจะทำให้ยุงบินหนีไปจากบริเวณที่จุดมากที่สุด
- กลิ่นการบูรทำให้ยุงบินหนีไปบ้างจากบริเวณที่จุดและยังมียุงบางตัวเหลืออยู่
- กลิ่นส้มทำให้ยุงบินหนีไปจากบริเวณน้อยที่สุดและยังพบว่ามียุงบินอยู่มาก

สรุปผลการทดลอง
1. กลิ่นของมะกรูด กลิ่นส้มสามารถไล่ยุงให้หนีไปได้
2. ธูปกลิ่นมะกรูดทำให้ยุงบินหนีหรือไล่ยุงได้ดีมากที่สุด

ข้อเสนอแนะ
1. ควรใช้กลิ่นจากส่วนประกอบของพืชให้มีหลายชนิดขึ้น
2. ควรใช้อัตราส่วนผสมของส่วนประกอบต่างๆในอัตราส่วนที่หลากหลายขึ้น
3. อาจจะทำในรูปแบบอื่นๆบ้าง เช่น ทำเป็นขดยากันยุง หรือแผ่นไล่ยุง
