ที่ประชุมคณะรัฐมนตรีเมื่อ วันที่ 31 มกราคม พ.ศ. 2555 ได้เห็นชอบกับกฎ ก.พ. ว่าด้วยเรื่องการปรับเงินเดือนข้าราชการ เพื่อปรับโครงสร้างเงินเดือนข้าราชการ 15,000 บาทต่อเดือน ให้สอดคล้องกับนโยบายรัฐบาลและปรับระยะเวลาการดําเนินการตามข้อเสนอของ ก.พ. จาก 4 ปี เป็นแล้วเสร็จภายใน 2 ปีโดยปรับโครงสร้างเงินเดือนใหม่ ดังนี้
