การศึกษาวิจัยเรื่อง ระดับการมีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรมอนุรักษ์แม่น้ำท่าจีนของนักเรียนในโรงเรียนเขตอำเภอสามพราน จังหวัดนครปฐม มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการมีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรมอนุรักษ์แม่น้ำท่าจีนของนักเรียนในโรงเรียนที่ตั้งใกล้แม่น้ำท่าจีน โดยวิเคราะห์ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างปัจจัยด้านบุคคล ปัจจัยทางสังคม และปัจจัยจากโรงเรียนกับระดับการมีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรมอนุรักษ์แม่น้ำท่าจีนของนักเรียน และศึกษาถึงลักษณะการจัดกิจกรรมอนุรักษ์แม่น้ำท่าจีน เพื่อการอนุรักษ์แม่น้ำท่าจีน กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษาตัวอย่างครั้งนี้คือนักเรียนในระดับชั้นประถมศึกษา ระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้นและมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย จำนวน 479 คนและการสัมภาษณ์ผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียน และครูที่ปรึกษากิจกรรมและนักเรียนที่ร่วมกิจกรรมอนุรักษ์แม่น้ำท่าจีนจาก 18 โรงเรียนในอำเภอสามพราน จังหวัดนครปฐม การวิจัยครั้งนี้ เป็นการวิจัยเชิงสำรวจ โดยใช้แบบสอบถามและแบบสัมภาษณ์ ข้อมูลที่ได้มาทำการวิเคราะห์ โดยการแจกแจงความถี่ ร้อยละ และการทดสอบความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างตัวแปรโดยการทดสอบค่าที (T-test) และทดสอบค่าเอฟ (F-test) โดยการวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนทางเดียว (One-Way Anova) และทดสอบความแตกต่างเป็นรายคู่ด้วยวิธีของเชฟเฟ่ (Scheffe Method) และการวิเคราะห์การถดถอยเชิงเส้นแบบพหุ (Multiple Linear Regression)โดยเลือกวิธีการ Stepwise
