ตั้งอยู่ที่ถนนหลวงในเขตเทศบาลเมือง สร้างขึ้นในสมัยพระบาทสมเด็จพระนั่งเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว ผู้สร้างวัดนี้คือ ท่านเจ้าอริยวงศาจารย์ญาณวิมลอุบล สังฆปาโมก(สุ้ย) เจ้าคณะเมืองอุบลราชธานีในสมัยนั้น ท่านได้เคยศึกษาพระธรรมวินัยที่วัดสระเกศราชวรวิหาร กรุงเทพฯ ท่านจึงได้นำพระพุทธบาทจำลองจากวัดสระเกศฯ มายังอุบลราชธานี และได้สร้างหอพระพุทธบาทขึ้นเป็นที่ประดิษฐาน หอพระพุทธบาทหลังนี้คือ พระอุโบสถที่พระสงฆ์ใช้ทำสังฆกรรมมีลักษณะของศิลปะแบบรัตนโกสินทร์ตอนต้น และศิลปะเวียงจันทน์ผสมกันอยู่



ภายในมีจิตรกรรมฝาผนังทุกด้านเขียนขึ้นในสมัยรัชกาลที่ 3 อาคารที่สำคัญอีกหลังหนึ่งคือ หอพระไตรปิฎก เป็นหอไตรที่สร้างด้วยไม้ ตั้งอยู่กลางสระน้ำเพื่อเป็นที่เก็บรักษาพระไตรปิฎก ป้องกันไม่ให้มดปลวกไปกัดทำลาย มีลักษณะเป็นศิลปะผสมระหว่างไทย พม่า และลาว กล่าวคือ ลักษณะอาคารเป็นแบบไทยเป็นเรือนฝาปะกน ขนาด 4 ห้อง



ภายในห้องที่เก็บตู้พระธรรมทุกด้านเขียนลงรักปิดทอง ส่วนของหลังคามีลักษณะศิลปะไทยผสมพม่าคือ มีช่อฟ้าใบระกา แต่หลังคาซ้อนกันหลายชั้นแสดงถึงอิทธิพลศิลปกรรมพม่าที่ส่งผ่านมายังศิลปะลาวล้านช้าง ส่วนลวดลายแกะสลักบนหน้าบันทั้ง 2 ด้าน เป็นลักษณะศิลปะแบบลาว ตรงส่วนฝาปะกนด้านล่างแกะเป็นรูปสัตว์ประจำราศีต่าง ๆ และลวดลายพันธุ์พฤกษาเป็นช่องโดยรอบ นับเป็นหอไตรที่มีความสวยงามมากแห่งหนึ่ง
