การส่งออกของไทยไปยังอาเซียนมีการเติบโตสูงนับตั้งแต่ปีที่ผ่านมา หลังจากการที่เขตการค้าเสรีอาเซียน หรือ AFTA ได้เริ่มต้นขึ้นอย่างเป็นทางการตั้งแต่เดือนมกราคมของปี 2546 ส่งผลให้สัดส่วนการส่งออกของไทยไปยังอาเซียนเพิ่มขึ้นอย่างรวดเร็ว เป็นที่น่าจับตามองถึงผลที่จะเกิดขึ้นในอนาคตต่อแนวโน้มการค้าของไทยจากการรวมกลุ่มเศรษฐกิจในระดับภูมิภาค
