ปีนี้เปิดรับเฉพาะนักศึกษาทุน ๕ ปี เข้ามาศึกษา จำนวน ๔๓ คน  ประกอบด้วย ๓ สาขาวิชา คือ  สาขาวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ สาขาวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ และสาขาวิชาภาษาไทย รวมทั้งได้เปิดสอนหลักสูตรประกาศนียบัตรบัณฑิตวิชาชีพครู รุ่นที่ ๗ และหลักสูตรประกาศนียบัตรบัณฑิตการบริหารการศึกษา รุ่นที่ ๑        พ.ศ. ๒๕๔๘  เปิดสอนหลักสูตรการผลิตครูการศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐานระดับปริญญาตรี (หลักสูตร ๕ ปี)  จำนวน ๔ สาขาวิชา คือ สาขาวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ สาขาวิชาภาษาไทย สาขาวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ และสาขาวิชาการศึกษาปฐมวัย นอกจากนี้ยังได้เปิดสอนหลักสูตรประกาศนียบัตรบัณฑิตวิชาชีพครู รุ่นที่ ๘ และหลักสูตรประกาศนียบัตรบัณฑิตการบริหารการศึกษา รุ่นที่ ๒        พ.ศ. ๒๕๔๙  เปิดรับนักศึกษาสาขาวิทยาศาสตร์เพิ่มขึ้นอีกหนึ่งสาขา  และได้รับการจัดสรรงบประมาณเพื่อการก่อสร้างอาคารคณะครุศาสตร์หลังใหม่เป็นจำนวน ๘๕ ล้านบาท และในปีการศึกษานี้มีนักศึกษาคณะครุศาสตร์ หลักสูตร ๔ ปี เป็นรุ่นสุดท้ายที่จะสำเร็จการศึกษา  แต่ยังคงมีการเปิดสอนตามหลักสูตร ๔ ปีในสาขาวิชาเทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรมการศึกษา ซึ่งในปีนี้นักศึกษาทุนหลักสูตร ๕ ปี ชั้นปีที่ ๓ ได้เริ่มออกฝึกประสบการณ์วิชาชีพครูเป็นครั้งแรก (การปฏิบัติงานวิชาชีพครู ๑)                   วันที่ ๒๓ มิถุนายน ๒๕๔๙ กระทรวงศึกษาธิการได้มีประกาศ เรื่อง การแบ่งส่วนราชการในมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏสวนสุนันทา พ.ศ. ๒๕๔๙ โดยให้แบ่งส่วนราชการในคณะครุศาสตร์ เป็นสำนักงานคณบดี                   ในระหว่างวันที่  ๘-๑๒  พฤศจิกายน  ๒๕๔๙ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏสวนสุนันทา ได้จัดงาน  “ใต้ร่มพระบารมี ๗๐ ปี สวนสุนันทา”  พระเจ้าวรวงศ์เธอพระองค์เจ้าศรีรัศมิ์ พระวรชายาในสมเด็จพระบรมโอรสาธิราช สยามมกุฎราชกุมาร ได้เสด็จพระราชดำเนินมาทรงวางศิลาฤกษ์ “อาคารกรรณาภรณ์พิพัฒน์” (อาคารคณะครุศาสตร์หลังใหม่) ในวันที่ ๙ พฤศจิกายน ๒๕๔๙          พ.ศ. ๒๕๕๐  นักศึกษาหลักสูตรครุศาสตรบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาการศึกษา  (หลักสูตร ๕ ปี) ชั้นปีที่ ๓ (รหัสนักศึกษา ๔๘) ออกฝึกประสบการณ์วิชาชีพครู ชุดวิชาการปฏิบัติงานวิชาชีพครู ๑ (Practicum 1) และนักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ ๔ (รหัสนักศึกษา ๔๗)  ออกฝึกประสบการณ์วิชาชีพครู ชุดวิชาการปฏิบัติงานวิชาชีพครู ๓ (Practicum 3) ณ โรงเรียนร่วมพัฒนาวิชาชีพครู         พ.ศ. ๒๕๕๑  นักศึกษาหลักสูตรครุศาสตรบัณฑิต  สาขาวิชาการศึกษา (หลักสูตร ๕ ปี) รุ่นแรก สำเร็จการศึกษาและได้รับการบรรจุเข้ารับราชการในตำแหน่งครูผู้ช่วย  สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาทั่วประเทศ          พ.ศ. ๒๕๕๓  ในวันที่ ๑๕ มกราคม คณะครุศาสตร์จัดพิธีเปิดอาคารกรรณาภรณ์พิพัฒน์ (อาคารคณะครุศาสตร์หลังใหม่)          พ.ศ.๒๕๕๔ เปิดรับนักศึกษาสาขาวิชาสังคมศึกษา (๕ ปี) และสาขาวิชานวัตกรรมและเทคโนโลยีการศึกษา (๔ ปี)
