การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา 1) ระบบเศรษฐกิจชุมชนของอำเภอเมือง จังหวัดลพบุรี 2) พฤติกรรมการมีส่วนร่วมของประชาชนในกิจกรรมการพัฒนาระบบเศรษฐกิจชุมชนของอำเภอเมือง จังหวัดลพบุรี 3) ความพึงพอใจของประชาชนต่อกิจกรรมการพัฒนาระบบเศรษฐกิจชุมชนของอำเภอเมือง จังหวัดลพบุรี และ4) เพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างการมีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรมการพัฒนาระบบเศรษฐกิจชุมชนกับความพึงพอใจต่อกิจกรรมการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจชุมชน ผลการวิเคราะห์ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างพฤติกรรมการมีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรมการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจชุมชนกับความพึงพอใจต่อกิจกรรมการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจชุมชนโดยใช้การทดสอบค่าสัมประสิทธิ์อย่างงานของ เพียร์สัน (Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient) พบว่า พฤติกรรมการมีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรมการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจชุมชนมีค่า P เท่ากับ .000 ซึ่งน้อยกว่าระดับนัยสำคัญ 0.01 ซึ่งมีความสัมพันธ์เชิงบวกกับกับความพึงพอใจต่อกิจกรรมการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจชุมชน ดังนั้นจึงยอมรับสมมติฐานการวิจัยที่ตั้งไว้ เมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายด้านพบว่า พฤติกรรมการมีส่วนร่วมด้านการสำรวจปัญหา ด้านการวางแผน ด้านการดำเนินงาน ด้านประเมินผล และด้านการรับผลประโยชน์มีความสัมพันธ์กับความพึงพอใจต่อกิจกรรมการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจชุมชนในด้านการสำรวจปัญหา ด้านการวางแผน ด้านการดำเนินงาน ด้านประเมินผล และด้านการรับผลประโยชน์
