มาตรฐานโรงแรมระดับ 1 ดาว เป็นโรงแรมที่เน้นการมีสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกพื้นฐานทั่วไป อาทิ ห้องพัก ที่มีขนาดไม่เล็กกว่า 10 ตารางเมตร พร้อมเตียงขนาด 3 ฟุต กระจกแต่งหน้า ถังขยะ โต๊ะ เก้าอี้ และภายในห้องน้ำมีผ้าเช็ดตัวและกระดาษชำระไว้บริการ
