ประวัติ ความเป็นมาของวิทยาลัยเกษตรและเทคโนโลยีเพชรบูรณ์

วิทยาลัยเกษตรและเทคโนโลยีเพชรบูรณ์ เดิมชื่อ วิทยาลัยเกษตรกรรมเพชรบูรณ์ ได้ก่อตั้งเมื่อวันที่ 1 มกราคม 2522 โดยมีนายปัญจะ เกสรทอง ซึ่งในขณะนั้นได้ ดำรงตำแหน่งสมาชิกสภาผู้แทนราษฎร (ส.ส.) จังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ เป็นผู้ให้การสนับสนุนและผลักดันด้านงบประมาณ ให้มีการจัดตั้งวิทยาลัยเกษตรฯ ขึ้น ซึ่งในปีนั้นเป็นปีเกษตรกร
พ.ศ.2524 เริ่มรับนักเรียนระดับชั้น ปวช.1
พ.ศ.2527 เริ่มรับนักเรียนระดับชั้น ปวช.1 และ ปวส.1
พ.ศ.2531 เริ่มรับนักเรียนตามโครงการอาชีวศึกษาเพื่อการพัฒนาชนบท (อศ.กช.)
พ.ศ.2537 เริ่มรับนักเรียนภาคนอกเกษตร ในนามวิทยาลัยชุมชุนศรีเพชรบูรณ์ โดยรับนักเรียนระดับ ปวช.สาขาช่างยนต์ และสาขาพาณิชยการ และระดับชั้น ปวส.สาขาคอมพิวเตอร์ธุรกิจ
พ.ศ.2539 ได้มีการเปลี่ยนชื่อจาก วิทยาลัยเกษตรกรรมเพชรบูรณ์ เป็น วิทยาลัยเกษตรและเทคโนโลยีเพชรบูรณ์ และได้เริ่มโครงการปฏิรูปการศึกษาเกษตรเพื่อชีวิต โดยรับนักเรียนในระดับชั้นประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพ (ปวช.) สาขาเกษตรศาสตร์
พ.ศ.2540 จนถึงปัจจุบัน ได้เปิดรับนักเรียนระดับชั้นประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพ (ปวช.) ตามโครงการปฏิรูปการศึกษาเกษตรเพื่อชีวิต นักเรียนตามโครงการอาชีวศึกษาเพื่อการพัฒนาชนบท (อศ.กช.) และระดับ ชั้นประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพชั้นสูง (ปวส.) ในสาขาวิชาดังต่อไปนี้
