เวลาผ่านไปหนึ่งเทอม ความรู้ก็เพิ่มพูนตามกาลเวลา ความรู้ที่ได้มาของแต่ละคนอาจจะไม่เท่ากัน แต่สำหรับดิฉันแล้ว การได้เรียนรู้ในวิชานี้อย่างน้อยทำให้มีความรู้สึกที่ดีต่อภาษาอังกฤษมากขึ้น แต่นั้นคงจะไม่เท่าความรู้สึกประทับใจ ความมั่นใจมากขึ้นในการเรียนในแต่ละครั้ง

ในปัจจุบันนี้ การรู้ภาษาอังกฤษไม่ใช่เป็นเรื่องของความสามารถพิเศษแล้ว ลองจินตนาการการสอบสัมภาษณ์เข้าทำงาน ส่วนการสอบเข้าเรียนในระดับต่างๆ แทบไม่ต้องกล่าวถึง ต้องใช้คะแนนภาษาอังกฤษมาเป็นเกณฑ์ หรือ แทบจะเป็นตัววัดตัวสุดท้ายในการตัดสินในการเข้าศึกษา

ยิ่งกล่าวไปทำให้เครียด จนมีความรู้สึกที่ไม่ดีต่อภาษาอังกฤษ เราลองย้อนกลับมาพิจารณา แล้วจะทำอย่างไรให้เก่งภาษาอังกฤษ เนื่องจากภาษาอังกฤษเป็นประโยค ที่ค่อนข้าง ซับซ้อน ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเรื่องของคำศัพท์ คำกริยา หรือโครงสร้างประโยค การที่จะอ่านหรือแปลประโยคแต่ละประโยค หรือบทความ แต่ละบทให้เข้าใจ และเหมาะสมตามความหมายที่ผู้เขียนต้องการจะสื่อจึงเป็นเรื่องยาก แต่อาจารย์ได้สอนการอ่านการแปลบทความดีๆที่ต้องเริ่มดูใจความจากประโยชน์ของแต่ละย่อหน้าก่อน เพื่อให้เราไม่กดดันหรือเสียเวลาอ่านและแปลทั้งหมด ก็สามารถร็ถึงใจความสำคัญของบทความนั้นได้ จากเมื่อที่แค่เห็นภาษาอังกฤษเป็นหน้าๆ ก็กังวลจนต้องวางลง แต่เดี่ยวนี้กลับลดความรู้สึกนั้นไปได้มาก และเพื่อจะได้เรียนรู้หลักการจำ การทำความเข้าใจภาษาอังกฤษ เมื่อเรียนจบแล้ว ต้องกลับมาทบทวน ทำความเข้าใจเรื่อยๆ มิฉะนั้นแล้ว ทุกอย่างจะกลับไปคืนผู้สอนหมด ทำให้เสียเวลาแล้วไม่ได้อะไรอีกด้วย ดิฉันจึงพยายามทบทวนความรู้ที่ได้รับมาค่ะ
