โครงงานนี้ออกแบบและสร้างแบบจำลองหอทำความเย็นเพื่อศึกษาหลักการทำงานของหอทำความเย็นพัดลมเป่าอากาศไหลผ่านไส้ระบายความร้อน และใช้ฟิลหรือแพคกิ้ง แบบ พลาสติกสแปลซ ในการศึกษานี้ได้ออกแบบ สร้าง และทดสอบระบบการทำงานของหอทำความเย็น โดยทำการออกแบบหอทำความเย็นที่ Packing มีพื้นที่หน้าตัดเท่ากับ 7x7 นิ้ว สูง 14.6 นิ้ว และทำการทดสอบระบบโดยการควบคุมอัตราการไหลของน้ำร้อนขาเข้า,อุณหภูมิน้ำร้อนขาเข้า โดยควบคุมให้อัตราการไหลคงที่ที่ 130 มิลลิลิตรต่อนาที,140 มิลลิลิตรต่อนาที และ 150 มิลลิลิตรต่อนาที และทำการควบคุมอุณหภูมิของน้ำขาเข้าที่ 50 องศาเซลเซียส, 60 องศาเซลเซียส ,70 องศาเซลเซียส และ 80 องศาเซลเซียสในทุกๆอัตราการไหล จากการทดสอบชุดจำลองหอทำเย็นที่สร้างขึ้นพบว่าสามารถระบายความร้อนได้จริง โดยสามารถลดอุณหภูมิของน้ำได้ตั้งแต่ 20-50 องศาเซลเซียสและมีประสิทธิภาพของหอทำเย็นประมาณ 80-95 เปอร์เซ็นต์
