วิชาการศึกษาความรู้ด้วยตนเองหรือ IS เป็นวิชาที่ให้นักเรียนได้ศึกษาค้นคว้าเรื่องราวที่ตนเองสนใจแล้วนำมาสร้างเป็นความรู้ใหม่โดยมีขั้นตอนและวิธีการที่เป็น แบบแผน กระผมได้ทำการศึกษาค้นคว้าเรื่องราวเกี่ยวกับ กีตาร์ ซึ่งเป็นเครื่องดนตรีชนิดหนึ่งที่ผู้คนทั่วโลกนิยมเล่นมากที่สุด และผมก็เป็นหนึ่งในนั้น กระผมได้มีความสนใจในกีตาร์มากและก็พอมีข้อมูลอยู่บ้าง และศึกษาอยู่เป็นประจำแต่ไม่ได้มีโอกาสได้ทำอย่างจริงจังเสียที โดยการศึกษากีตาร์ ผมได้ทำการศึกษาในส่วนของ รายละเอียดวัสดุที่ใช้ทำ คุณภาพ ราคา ความนิยม ยี่ห้อ สถานที่ผลิต ของกีตาร์เพื่อเป็นประโยชน์ต่อผู้สนใจต่อไป เพราะในปัจจุบันไม่มีผู้ใดได้ทำข้อมูลของกีตาร์ที่ละเอียดให้ผู้ที่สนใจได้ศึกษา นอกจากนี้ผมยังได้ทำการศึกษาชนิดและรูปทรงเพื่อเป็นความรู้ในสาขาวิชาดนตรีอีกด้วย ถ้าหากผลการศึกษานี้มีข้อบกพร่องประการ ก็ขออภัยมา ณ ที่นี้ด้วย
