การค้นคว้าอิสระนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อศึกษาระดับความพึงพอใจของผู้ปกครองต่อการบริหารงานศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็กขององค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลนาเรียง 2) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความ พึงพอใจของผู้ปกครองต่อบริหารงานศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็กขององค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลนาเรียง จำแนกตาม เพศ อายุ อาชีพ และระดับการศึกษาระหว่างผู้ปกครองของนักเรียนที่สำเร็จการศึกษาและนักเรียนที่กำลังศึกษาอยู่ และ 3) เพื่อศึกษาข้อเสนอแนะของผู้ปกครองต่อบริหารงาน ศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็กขององค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลนาเรียง โดยประชากรที่ใช้ในการศึกษาครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ ผู้ปกครองนักเรียนที่ส่งบุตรหลานเข้าไปเรียนในศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็กขององค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลนาเรียง อำเภอพรหมคีรี จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช ประจำปีการศึกษา 2557 และผู้ปกครองของนักเรียนที่สำเร็จการศึกษาไปแล้ว โดยกำหนดขนาดกลุ่มตัวอย่างอย่างง่าย ของ Taro Yamane (1976:886-887) ได้จำนวน 111 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล เป็นแบบสอบถามแบบมาตรส่วนประมาณค่า 5 ระดับ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยโปรแกรมคอมพิวเตอร์สำเร็จรูปโดยใช้โปรแกรมสำเร็จรูปทางสถิติ วิเคราะห์หาค่าความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน
