• Contacts customers promoting Container services. Managing a team 4 sales personals. Including 1 area Sales Managers. Other responsibilities include Strategy Planning, Sales, Market Analysis, Tariffs; Commercial function etc. achieved 95% E- Bookings and Shipping instructions of the total business procured as per the targets set by the Principals. Closely monitoring/ assisting the sales teams in meeting the set target implemented by the Principals. Conducting intensive Market Analysis with complete outbound / Inbound accountability to the Principal’s. Factors include Sales; i.e.; FOB / Prepaid Contribution Reports, New Target Accounts, Sales Achievement Ratio, information on new Government Policies, Laws, Rules, Regulations and issue based Economic Progress on both Inbound and Outbound Fronts. Maintaining Ocean Freight Tariffs and Quotation in accordance with Company’s and Principal’s guidelines / parameters, filing Customer wise Ocean Freight with Online System Software. Directly procured business new shippers /exporters / forwarders / logistics companies and consignee / importers. Pivotal in constantly motivating and guiding the Sales force to target potential Exporters / International Freight Forwarders / Custom House Agents. Have regularly monitored competition activities by regularly abstracting information from the port in regards number of inventories loaded for various trade lanes ,and according taking persuasive action in consultation with my senior. Along with my Sales teams have given personalized service and attention to our customers by offering special ocean freights etc and entertaining clients regularly. Enhanced market share through regular personal meetings and maintaining excellent relations with customers. Communicate closely with operations and documentation and customer service department for customer needs. Prepares reports of various kinds mainly related to the sales performance and market scenario. Analysis of the previous performance and derive strategy for increasing the market share and revenue. Provides feedback to principals on customer needs, competitor’s strength and weakness and other pertinent issues. Preparing trade wise monthly sales report and export forecast to each lines and submit to the M.D & Principals. Coordinating with all Area Sales Managers, visiting the Consignees in each area and secure the cargo for the Shipping Lines. Also solving the problem if they are having any. Participate in the submission and execution of the volume contract shipments. Directs, guides and counsels the sales, operations and documentation team for optimum client satisfaction. Conducts periodical meetings to address staff output and achieve sales target. Build strong relationship with senior management in order to identify areas for business development and growth. Handle customer complaints and claims.

Support Customer Service and work closely with Operations and Documentation on the execution of customer service contracts.
Promote the services and products of all entities, and coordinate sales efforts with other department sales.
Assimilate market information and take part in the overall business development through weekly / monthly sales meetings.

Handle all customer of DG Shipment and Nominate shipment.
