การวิจัยเชิงพรรณนานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์

การวิจัยเชิงพรรณนานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาระดับความเครียดและการเผชิญความเครียดของผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยเบาหวาน หาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างปัจจัยส่วนบุคคลและการเผชิญความเครียดอีกทั้งยังศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างความเครียดและการเผชิญความเครียดของผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยเบาหวาน ประชากรที่ศึกษาคือ ผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยเบาหวานในตำบลธาตุ อำเภอวารินชำราบ จังหวัดอุบลราชธานี จำนวน 124 คน เครื่องมือการวิจัยประกอบด้วยแบบสอบถามความเครียดและการเผชิญความเครียดของผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยเบาหวาน การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา แสดงความถี่ ร้อยละ คะแนนสัมพัทธ์และการหาไคสแควร์ (chi-square test)
การศึกษาความเครียดและการเผชิญความเครียดของผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยเบาหวานอำเภอวารินชำราบ จังหวัดอุบลราชธานีพบว่า 1.โดยรวมมีระดับความเครียดในระดับปานกลาง 2.มีวิธีการเผชิญความเครียดด้านการบรรเทาความรู้สึกเครียดมากที่สุด 3.ความสัมพันธ์ด้านปัจจัยส่วนบุคคลสถานภาพสมรสมีความสัมพันธ์กับวิธีการเผชิญความเครียด ด้านการจัดการกับอารมณ์ ระดับการศึกษามีความสัมพันธ์กับวิธีการเผชิญความเครียด ด้านการเผชิญหน้ากับปัญหาและด้านการจัดการกับอารมณ์ อาชีพมีความสัมพันธ์กับวิธีการเผชิญความเครียด ด้านการบรรเทาความรู้สึกเครียด รายได้เฉลี่ยต่อเดือนมีความสัมพันธ์กับวิธีการเผชิญความเครียด ด้านการบรรเทาความรู้สึกเครียด 4. ระดับความเครียดมีความสัมพันธ์กับวิธีการเผชิญความเครียด ด้านการเผชิญหน้ากับปัญหาและด้านการจัดการกับอารมณ์ ส่วนความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างระดับความเครียดกับวิธีการเผชิญความเครียด ด้านการบรรเทาความรู้สึกเครียด ไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กัน
