๏ อัตโนประวัติ

“พระราชอุดมมงคล” หรือ “พระมหาอุตตมรัมโภ ภิกขุ” หรือ “อุตตมรัมโภภิกขุ” หรือที่รู้จักกันทั่วไปในนามของ “หลวงพ่ออุตตมะ” อดีตพระเถราจารย์ชื่อดัง และอดีตเจ้าอาวาสวัดวังก์วิเวการาม จังหวัดกาญจนบุรี ทั้งยังเป็นพระภิกษุสงฆ์ชาวมอญ (ซึ่งเป็นชนกลุ่มน้อยในประเทศพม่า) ผู้มีบทบาทเป็นผู้นำคนสำคัญของชาวมอญพลัดถิ่นที่อำเภอสังขละบุรี จนได้สมญานามว่าเป็น “เทพเจ้าของชาวมอญ”

หลวงพ่ออุตตมะ เกิดเมื่อวันอาทิตย์ ขึ้น 6 ค่ำ เดือน 4 ปีจอ จุลศักราช 1272 (พุทธศักราช 2453) ณ หมู่บ้านโมกกะเนียง ตำบลเกลาสะ อำเภอเย จังหวัดมะละแหม่ง เมืองมอญ ประเทศพม่า โยมบิดา-โยมมารดาชื่อ นายโง และนางทองสุข ครอบครัวประกอบอาชีพทำนา-ทำไร่ และประกอบยาสมุนไพรแผนโบราณจนมีชื่อเสียง ท่านมีพี่น้องร่วมบิดามารดาเดียวกันทั้งหมด 12 คน เป็นชาย 7 คน หญิง 5 คน ท่านเป็นบุตรคนโต เนื่องจากเป็นทารกเพศชายเกิดในวันอาทิตย์ โยมบิดา-โยมมารดาจึงตั้งชื่อให้ว่า “เอหม่อง”






การบรรพชาและอุปสมบท

หลวงพ่ออุตตมะ บรรพชาเป็นสามเณร ณ วัดเกลาสะ ตำบลเกลาสะ อำเภอเย จังหวัดมะละแหม่ง เมื่อจุลศักราช 1291 (พุทธศักราช 2472) โดยมี พระเกตุมาลา เป็นพระอุปัชฌาย์ ปีนั้นเอง ท่านได้ศึกษาภาษาบาลีและพระปริยัติธรรม จนสามารถสอบได้นักธรรมชั้นตรี อีกปีหนึ่งถัดมาสามารถสอบได้นักธรรมชั้นโท แต่ไม่นาน หลวงพ่อก็ตัดสินใจสึกออกมาเพราะเห็นว่าไม่มีใครช่วยโยมบิดา-โยมมารดาทำนา

จนกระทั่งหม่องเอ ซึ่งเป็นลูกของพี่สาวของบิดา ได้มาอาศัยอยู่ด้วย หลังจากที่บิดามารดาของหม่องเอเสียชีวิตจนหมดสิ้น ซึ่งเท่ากับว่ามีคนมาช่วยแบ่งเบาภาระในการทำนา และมีญาติซึ่งไว้วางใจได้มาคอยดูแลบิดามารดา หลวงพ่ออุตตมะจึงตัดสินใจอุปสมบทเป็นพระภิกษุ ณ วัดเกลาสะ โดยมี พระเกตุมาลา วัดเกลาสะ เป็นพระอุปัชฌาย์,พระนันทสาโร วัดโมกกะเนียง เป็นพระกรรมวาจารย์ และ พระวิสารทะ วัดเจ้าคะเล เป็นพระอนุสาวนาจารย์ เมื่อวันพฤหัสบดีที่ 23 เมษายน พ.ศ. 2476 ได้รับนามฉายาว่า “อุตตมรัมโภ” ซึ่งแปลว่า “ผู้มีความพากเพียรอันสูงสุด” โดยหลวงพ่ออุตตมะได้ตั้งเจตจำนงที่จะบวชไม่สึกจนตลอดชีวิต



๏ การสร้างวัตถุมงคล

วัตถุมงคลของหลวงพ่ออุตตมะ ที่ประชาชนที่นิยมนำไปบูชาคือ เหรียญหลวงพ่ออุตตมะ และลูกประคำ ใครที่ได้สร้อยลูกประคำของท่านมาแล้ว ถือว่าเป็นสิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ยิ่งนักในด้านของความอยู่ยงคงกระพัน ในที่นี้ไม่ได้หมายถึงฟันแทงไม่เข้า แต่ถือว่าเป็นสิ่งที่จะคอยปกป้องคุ้มภัยอันตรายต่างๆ ที่จะเข้ามาสู่ตัวผู้สวมใส่หรือครอบครอง




๏ กำเนิดวัดหลวงพ่ออุตตมะ

ในปี พ.ศ. 2499 หลวงพ่ออุตตมะ ร่วมกับชาวบ้านที่เป็นชาวกะเหรี่ยงและชาวมอญได้พร้อมใจกันสร้างศาลาวัดขึ้น และสร้างเสร็จในเดือน 6 ของปีนั้นเอง แต่เนื่องจากยังมิได้มีการขออนุญาตจากกรมการศาสนา วัดที่สร้างเสร็จจึงมีฐานะเป็นสำนักสงฆ์ แต่ชาวบ้านโดยทั่วไปเรียกว่า “วัดหลวงพ่ออุตตมะ” ตั้งอยู่บนเนินสูงในบริเวณที่เรียกว่า “สามประสบ” เพราะมีแม่น้ำ 3 สายไหลมาบรรจบกัน คือแม่น้ำซองกาเลีย แม่น้ำบีคลี่ และแม่น้ำรันตี

ในปี พ.ศ. 2505 เมื่อได้รับอนุญาตจากกรมการศาสนาเป็นที่เรียบร้อย หลวงพ่ออุตตมะจึงได้ตั้งชื่อสำนักสงฆ์ตามชื่ออำเภอเก่า (อำเภอวังกะ) ว่า “วัดวังก์วิเวการาม”

ในปี พ.ศ. 2513 หลวงพ่อเริ่มสร้างพระอุโบสถวัดวังก์วิเวการามโดยปั้นอิฐเอง

ในปี พ.ศ. 2518 หลวงพ่อได้เริ่มสร้างเจดีย์จำลองแบบจากเจดีย์พุทธคยาที่ประเทศอินเดีย และสร้างเสร็จในปี พ.ศ. 2529 เจดีย์นี้มีความศักดิ์สิทธิ์มาก มีลักษณะฐานเป็นรูปสี่เหลี่ยมจัตุรัส บรรจุพระบรมสารีริกธาตุส่วนที่เป็น กระดูกนิ้วหัวแม่มือขวา ขนาดเท่าเมล็ดข้าวสาร ในการนี้สมเด็จพระบรมโอรสาธิราชฯ สยามมกุฎราชกุมาร เสด็จพระราชดำเนินเปิดเจดีย์พุทธคยา ณ วัดวังก์วิเวการาม
