วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาแนวคิดภาวะผู้นำเชิงพุทธในการบริหารกิจการคณะสงฆ์ การบูรณาการหลักภาวะผู้นำเชิงพุทธเพื่อการบริหารกิจการคณะสงฆ์ของพระราชปัญญาโมลี (จำรัส ทตฺตสิริ) และรูปแบบการพัฒนาภาวะผู้นำในการบริหารกิจการคณะสงฆ์
ของพระราชปัญญาโมลี (จำรัส ทตฺตสิริ) การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพโดยการศึกษาวิจัยเชิงเอกสาร และวิธีการสัมภาษณ์แบบเจาะลึก (In-depth interview) กับพระสังฆาธิการผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญด้านการในการทำวิจัยจำนวน ๑๕ รูป/คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยซึ่งเป็น แบบสัมภาษณ์แบบมีโครงสร้าง (Structural Interview) ที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้นจากแนวคิด การบริหารกิจการคณะสงฆ์ ๖ ด้าน ภายใต้กรอบหลักธรรมทางพระพุทธศาสนา จำนวน ๓ ชุด สำหรับสัมภาษณ์พระราชปัญญาโมลี (จำรัส ทตฺตสิริ) และผู้ที่เกี่ยวข้อง ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ ผู้วิจัยได้กำหนดรูปแบบเป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ (Qualitative Research) ซึ่งข้อมูลที่รวบรวมเกิดจากการประมวลเอกสาร และการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก ดังนั้นการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ผู้วิจัยดำเนินการโดยจัดลำดับเนื้อหาตามวัตถุประสงค์ จากนั้นจึงทาการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา (Constant Analysis) ประกอบบริบท (Context) แล้วนำเสนอในรูปแบบการพรรณนา
