สถานที่ที่มีความสำคัญและเกี่ยวเนื่อ

สถานที่ที่มีความสำคัญและเกี่ยวเนื่องกับองค์สมเด็จโตมีด้วยกันมากมาย หลายแห่งซึ่งสถานที่เหล่านั้นมีความ ผูกผันกับ ชีวิตของสมเด็จโตตั้งแต่เกิดจนกระทั่งมรณภาพ ท่านก็มักจะสร้างอะไรๆ ที่ใหญ่ๆ โตๆ สมกับชื่อของท่าน ส่วนใหญ่แล้วท่านก็จะสร้างเป็นพระพุทธรูปในอิริยาบถต่างๆ เช่น ยืน เดิน นั่ง นอน เป็นต้น เพื่อเป็นอนุสรณ์แก่ตัวท่านเอง จึงได้สร้างปรากฏเป็นหลักฐานดังนี้

วัดสะตือพระพุทธไสยาสน์
           วัดสะตือ ตั้งอยู่เลขที่ ๑๔๐ บ้านท่างาม หมู่ที่ ๖ ตำบลท่าหลวง อำเภอท่าเรือ จังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา สังกัดคณะสงฆ์มหานิกาย พื้นที่ตั้งวัดเป็นที่ราบตั้งอยู่ริมแม่น้ำป่าสัก ตามหลักฐานเดิมวัดมีพื้นที่ประมาณ  ๓๗ ไร่ แม่น้ำป่าสักได้กลืนที่ดินวัดแหว่งเว้าไปทีละนิด ทีละหน่อย  ตั้งแต่สร้างเขื่อนพระราม ๖  เป็นต้นมา ที่ดินหน้าวัดหายลึกไปประมาณ ๒๐  วา เมื่อทางกรมที่ดินออกโฉนดที่ดินวัดให้ใหม่เหลือที่ดินซึ่งมีเนื้อที่เพียง ๑๕ ไร่ ๑ งาน ๘๐ ตารางวา เลขที่โฉนดที่ดิน ๗๐๗๑ เลขที่ดิน ๖๙๙ อาณาเขต ทิศเหนือยาว ๒๔๐ เมตร ติดต่อกับที่ตั้งบ้านเรือนของประชาชน ทิศใต้ยาว ๔๐ เมตร ติดต่อกับที่ตั้งบ้านเรือนของประชากร ทิศตะวันออกยาว ๑๖๐ เมตร ติดต่อกับแม่น้ำแควป่าสัก ทิศตะวันตกยาว ๒๔๐ เมตร ติดต่อกับถนนเข้าหมู่บ้าน
 
 






           อาคารเสนาสนะต่างๆ ซึ่งประกอบด้วย  พระอุโบสถกว้าง ๘ เมตร ยาว ๒๒.๙๐ เมตร สร้าง พ.ศ. ๒๔๙๘ โครงสร้างคอนกรีตเสริมเหล็กและดำเนินการบูรณะซ่อมแซมโดย  พลตรีมนูญกฤษ รูปขจร ในครั้งที่ ๑ ซึ่งบ้านเกิดอยู่หลังองค์พระพุทธไสยาสน์  และในปี พ.ศ. ๒๕๔๓ พระอธิการทองคำ  คัมภีรปัญโญ เจ้าอาวาสในขณะนั้นได้ทำการบูรณะ โดยกรมศิลปากรเป็นผู้ควบคุมการบูรณะ  ศาลาการเปรียญเป็นอาคารคอนกรีตเสริมเหล็ก  กว้าง ๑๒.๗๕ เมตร ยาว ๒๑.๕๐ เมตร สร้าง พ.ศ. ๒๕๒๖ เป็นอาคารคอนกรีต สูงใหญ่ ๒  ชั้น หอสวดมนต์กว้าง ๙.๕๐ เมตร ยาว ๑๘.๕๐ เมตร สร้าง พ.ศ. ๒๕๑๕ เป็นอาคารคอนกรีต ๒ ชั้น กุฎีสงฆ์ จำนวน ๗ หลัง เป็นอาคารครึ่งตึกครึ่งไม้  หอฉันเป็นอาคารคอนกรีตเสริมเหล็ก นอกจากนี้มีวิหาร  กว้าง ๗.๘๐  เมตร  ยาว ๒๐.๙๐  เมตร ซึ่งสร้างในสมัยอยุธยาตอนปลายมีรูปทรงเป็นเรือสำเภา สมเด็จพุฒาจารย์โต ได้พักอาศัยเมื่อคราวมาคุมการก่อสร้างองค์พระพุทธไสยาสน์ และได้มีการบูรณะขึ้นใหม่โดยพลเอกสำราญ แพทยกุล เป็นผู้บริจาคงบในการบูรณะ

 ห้องน้ำห้องสุขา พระครูปริยัตยาธิคุณ  ได้ดำเนินการก่อสร้างเป็นห้องน้ำในระดับ  ๕ ดาว  เมื่อปี  พ.ศ.  ๒๕๕๒ โดยได้รับรางวัลที่ ๑ ระดับภาค และตอนนี้กำลังประกวดในระดับประเทศอยู่
 
         ศาลาดินหรือวิหารสมเด็จ หลังเดิมเป็นอาคารไม้โปร่งมุงด้วยสังกะสี ลักษณะการก่อสร้างใช้สลักเดือยแทนตะปู สมเด็จพุฒาจารย์โต ได้มาพักอาศัยเมื่อคราว มาคุมการก่อสร้างองค์พระพุทธไสยาสน์ ต่อมาได้มีการปรับปรุงและก่อสร้างวิหารคู่เป็นอาคารชุดเชื่อมต่อกับศาลาดิน ศาลาน้ำหรือศาลาริมแม่น้ำป่าสัก   เจดีย์ย่อมุมไม้สิบสอง ตั้งอยู่บริเวณเศียรองค์พระพุทธไสยาสน์  หอระฆังคอนกรีตเสริมเหล็ก  สร้าง พ.ศ.  ๒๕๑๓   ศาลาบำเพ็ญกุศลเป็นศาลาคอนกรีตเสริมเหล็กชั้นเดียว  ๑ หลัง  ศาลาไม้ชั้นเดียว  ๑ หลัง   และฌาปนสถาน ซึ่งปรับปรุงใช้เป็นเตาน้ำมันเป็นวัดแห่งแรกในอำเภอท่าเรือเมื่อ ปี พ.ศ. ๒๕๔๕ เพื่อรักษาสภาพแวดล้อม ศาลาจำหน่ายวัตถุมงคลสร้าง  วางศิลาฤกษ์โดยพลอากาศเอกมนัส  รูปขจร พ.ศ. ๒๕๔๐  เขื่อนคอนกรีตเสริมเหล็กกันดินพัง ริมแม่น้ำป่าสัก ของเดิมสร้างในสมัยพระครูพุทธไสยาภิบาล  และสร้างเขื่อนเพิ่มเติม พ.ศ. ๒๕๔๘  ในสมัยพระครูปริยัตยาธิคุณ  ใช้งบก่อสร้างและซ่อมแซม  ๖,๐๓๑,๐๘๘ บาท ก่อสร้างโรงอาหาร  พ.ศ. ๒๕๕๐  ใช้งบ  ๘๙๖,๐๑๐ บาท   ห้องน้ำห้องสุขา พระครูปริยัตยาธิคุณ  ได้ดำเนินการก่อสร้างเป็นห้องน้ำในระดับ  ๕ ดาว  เมื่อปี  พ.ศ.  ๒๕๕๒  ใช้งบก่อสร้าง  ๔,๕๓๑,๔๑๐ บาท

             วัดสะตือ สร้างขึ้นเป็นวัดนับแต่ พ.ศ. ๒๔๐๐ เดิมตั้งอยู่ทางทิศเหนือขึ้นไปไม่ไกลนัก ที่เรียกว่า วัดสะตือ เพราะมีต้นสะตือใหญ่เป็นนิมิต ต่อเมื่อสมเด็จพระพุฒาจารย์ (โต) พรหมรังสี ได้มาดำเนินการสร้างพระพุทธไสยาสน์แล้ว วัดสะตือจึงได้ย้ายมาตั้งที่บริเวณพระนอนนี้และ เรียกนามตามชื่อตำบลว่า "วัดท่างาม" กาลต่อมา สมเด็จพระพุทธเจ้าหลวง รัชกาลที่๕ ได้เสด็จไปทรงนมัสการพระพุทธบาท ได้เสด็จขึ้นที่ท่าตำบลนี้ ๒ ครั้ง แต่นั้นมาจึงเรียกตำบลว่า "ตำบลท่าหลวง" และเรียกนามวัดว่า "วัดท่าหลวง" แต่ต่อมากลับไปเรียกว่า "วัดสะตือ" ตามนามเดิมอีก ซึ่งยุติต้องกันกับการเสด็จประพาสต้นครั้งที่ ๒
